that was founded in 1975. They specialize in all proxy
related design and print work. They have been recognized as
the largest provider of proxy cards and related materials to
the stock transfer industry. Clients include the largest
transfer agents in the world, as well as the largest
financial printers in the industry.
Scotti Graphics is a family owned and operated company.
Founder, Dick Scotti, a visionary, started his career in
printing in the late 1950's. Many of his ideas in regard to
technology were ahead of his time and are just now taking
shape within the industry. He studied computer programming
and data processing at Long Island University in 1963. In
the late 1960's he designed the first optically scanned
document used in the industry.
Richard Scotti, President of Scotti Graphics, Inc is proud
of his fathers accomplishments and proud of what he was able
to learn from him. The company has continued on the same
path Dick Scotti took; "Always find a better way".
In 1995, the company was the first company in their industry
to implement Adobe Acrobat technology, which enabled Scotti
Graphics to send and receive detailed graphics quickly and
efficiently. Several years ago Richard Scotti designed a
"fold and detach" letter of transmittal which is
now being used throughout the industry. This new style
letter of transmittal replaced the "snake" letter
of transmittal that was a difficult item to produce. The
"snake" letter of transmittal would vary in size
which made it difficult to print and especially difficult to
fold. The Scotti Graphics "fold and detach" letter
of transmittal is 11'' X 17'' document that contains all of
the same information but is a more functional form that is
easier to print, imprint and fold. You can view a sample of
this unique and innovative product on our web-site.
In1996, Scotti Financial Data Services was launched. The
company realized that technology would be changing the face
of the printing industry and saw the opportunity to add to
our services and take the "Under one roof" theory
and make it their reality. This new company provided their
clients with the ability to custom program, imprint and mail
in addition to their traditional offset printing and design
capabilities.
In 1997, Scotti Graphics acquired MICR Encoding Company.
This move enabled the company to add dramatically to their
check printing, MICR encoding and continuous form printing
capability.
Dick Scotti's legacy lives on and he would be proud of the
growth of Scotti Graphics in recent years. They have
achieved this growth through hard work, honor and integrity.
Their special blend of old-fashioned honor, dedication and
craftsmanship, combined with today's technology and
high-tech equipment, have placed Scotti Graphics and its'
affiliates, in a position that is rare in any industry
today.
